Twenty of my favorite foods

It’s been four days since  Thanksgiving and I’m still thinking about the great time spent with family and the great assortment of delicious foods on the Thanksgiving table. During Thanksgiving, everyone has their favorite foods; favorite dessert, favorite side on the Thanksgiving plate, favorite drink. So it got me thinking about my favorite foods. So here’s a list of twenty of my favorites for many categories of food:

Favorite Thanksgiving side: Homemade Mashed Potatoes and gravy from scratch.

Favorite Thanksgiving Dessert: Pumpkin Pie with gingerbread crust from Vicki Lee’s

Favorite Cheese cake: Carrot Cake Cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory

Favorite Dessert: Apple crisp with vanilla ice cream

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Oreo

Best Ice Cream I’ve ever tasted: Cafe Au Lait and Beignets from New Orleans Ice Cream Co.

Favorite Cookie: Oatmeal Raisin

Favorite Candy: Sour Patch Kids

Best Gum: Orbitz Peppermint (I know, gum is not food!)

Favorite Fruit: Watermelon

Second Favorite Fruit: Mango

Favorite Dinner Food: Italian (made in Italy)

Favorite Italian Dishes: Pasta with Clams and Pizza

Favorite Greek Dish: Stuffed Cabbage with Lemon Sauce

Favorite Vegetable: Corn

Favorite cocktail: Manhattan

Favorite cold drink: Lemonade

Favorite Breakfast: Eggs Benedict

Favorite Healthy Breakfast: Oatmeal with nuts and dried fruit at Starbucks 

Favorite Sandwich: Corned Beef, The Dinty Moore at Zingermans 

 

 

Summer Livin’ means Fillin’ (your belly) w Grillin’
