One of my favorite one two punches in a smoothie is blueberry and banana, with a refreshing milk base. I had this first at an outdoor smoothie stand at University of Wisconsin-Madison and got hooked by the subtle flavors. Now, I make the blueberry banana smoothie at home. Healthy and Delicious, my Banana Blueberry Smoothie has frozen bananas, fresh blueberries, chopped dates, honey roasted peanut butter, milk, honey, and cinnamon.
Ingredients
1 bananas chopped into large pieces and frozen overnight
½ cup of fresh organic blueberries
2 cups of organic milk
1 TB honey
2 dates chopped
1 TB ground honey roasted peanut butter
1 TSP cinnamon
Instructions
add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth
