Turkish Pizza is a delicious, savory, flavorful flatbread made of lamb, tomatoes, onions, herbs and spices, topped with fresh lemon juice
  • 1X Recipe All Purpose Flatbread
  • 1⁄4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp tomato Paste
  • 2 tbsp chopped Parsley
  • 1⁄2 tsp chili flakes, cayenne, or Aleppo Pepper
  • 1⁄4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1⁄4 tsp sweet paprika
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon
  • 1⁄2 # ground lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic minced and salted
  • 1 plum tomato, grated
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1.2 fresh chili stemmed and seeded and minced
  1. Method:
  2. Prepare dough according to recipe.
  3. For the Topping:
  4. Pulse all ingredients except for lamb til combined, add lamb and pulse til well mixed.
  5. Roll out dough balls thinly and press lamb mixture into dough all the way to the edges.
  6. Bake on a parchment lined sheet pan or on a pizza stone in a 450-degree oven.
  7. Serve with salad, yogurt, and a wedge of fresh lemon.
